- ad Beach ÖM:

Liebe Freunde des gepflegten STRANDspiels,

der erste Termin für die österreichischen Beach Ultimate Meisterschaften hat nicht wollen sein. Jetzt gibt es einen neuen Termin im September.
Und zwar wird sie vom 29. bis 30. September an der "Strada del SoHle" in Bibione, nahe der Therme ausgetragen.

Divisionen: Mixed und Open
Die Kosten bleiben bei einer Teamfee von € 150. Playersfee wird KEINE eingehoben.

Die Anmeldung läuft bis 15. Juni wieder über http://ffindr.com/de/, wobei das Turnier unter „Turniere/Österreich“ zu finden ist. Bis 30. Juni ist die Teamfee an nachfolgendes Konto zu überweisen.

Grund für die frühen Deadlines ist u.a. die Fixierung des Termins gegenüber Bibione sowie der Vermeidung von Kosten bei einer späten Absage.

- ad Beach Europameisterschaften:

It gives me great pleasure to invite the Österreichischer Frisbeesportverband to participate in the 2013 European Championships of Beach Ultimate (ECBU2013).

The Championships, under the auspices of BULA Europe, will be held at Calafell Beach (Tarragona, Spain) from the 27th to the 30th of June 2013. National teams are invited to participate in one or more of the 6 available divisions: Open, women, mixed, masters and mixed-masters and grand-masters.

We had close contact with the EUF to ensure there was no conflict in dates and Patrick van der Valk, the BULA President, is working with the WFDF to have the event also WFDF certified.

Our goal is to provide the players with a top class beach ultimate championship, which hopefully will surpass any of our previous tournaments, as well as to use this event as a promotional opportunity the sport of beach ultimate in Spain and in Europe. You can read more about the event in Patrick’s open letter to the community.

Beach Ultimate lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful 5 kilometers of golden sands just 60km south of Barcelona. There are countless low fare options flying to Barcelona (45km away) and Reus (30Km from

Callafell) airports, plus excellent rail connections from France. Average maximum temperatures are on the high 20's during that time of the year, making it perfect for a great beach ultimate tournament.

We are excited about this tournament as we believe we will be able to attain and hopefully surpass last year's WCBU huge success.
